- Medical Imaging (MSc)
This course offers specialist training in the science and technology behind the major imaging modalities used in healthcare and medical research. The course is designed:- for Physical Science/Engineering graduates who wish to pursue a career in research or technological development in Medical Imaging.
- for Intercalating Medical students or Medical or Biomedical Science graduates seeking a career in research or clinical topics related to Medical Imaging.
- Cognitive Brain Imaging (MSc)
Run by the School of Psychological Sciences, this is a pioneering new course designed to prepare individuals for various careers in functional neuroimaging. This cutting-edge one year full-time Masters is unique in the UK in its focus on the use of imaging methods (MRI, fMRI, PET and EEG) and advanced image analysis to provide insights into brain function and behaviour in health and disease.
- Manchester Radiology Training Scheme (MRTS)
The MRTS is designed specifically for medically-qualified trainees who wish to pursue a career as a radiologist. The MRTS is the largest such scheme in the UK, outside London.
